It’s night, I’m prisoner to one of those electric storms
So quiet just old clock is ticking and the air is so warm
I’m praying for the thunder that could overrule this beat
’cause it’s itching, it’s scratching, is slipping through the skin, yes through the meat
In the spell of the moonlight ceiling filled with tiny dots
I’m forced to sit down and follow the most unsavory thoughts
